a child I had a neighbour who was an elderly British
expat. She had traveled and lived abroad
extensively.She had an aviary where she bred exotic
birds. She also had a Chinese cook who yelled at us kids
all the time. He wore his hair in a long braid and wore unusual looking clothes. She had a massive collection of art, strange objects, unusual furniture, and mysterious objects. I remember a large stuffed snake. She filled my mind with wonder. I wanted to feel that excitement all over again so I started this museum. I hope you will enjoy the curiosity too! |
